When I was in middle school there was this house that my bus route passed by, and everything about it was PINK. The house itself was white but the gutters were painted pink, the front door was painted pink, the window frames and the hand rail were decked out in tickle-me-pink. All the trims and bits were spiffy pink, maybe even the roof. During the springtime they grew bright pink tulips, and in all my life it was the only house I ever saw with those tacky flamingo lawn ornaments. Only they knew how to make 'em work. Needless to say that house is probably responsible for my unashamed love of the color pink, in all its cheery fun-loving pigmentation. I hope the owners of that house have stuck with it all these years later.

Yes, this girl is supposed to be a flamingo. I don't like her face or her beak or pretty much anything except the pink and the scatter brush experimentation. When it comes to faces, I've been feeling artistically frustrated lately. If anyone knows of any good human/animal head/face/expression tutorials (cartoon or otherwise), I'd appreciate it HUGELY.

After that maybe I'll take a swing at this chick again.

I don't see anythng wrong with this one O_O
I actuly came to think it realy was an official Disney chara,thats how good I think it is!
She look like she is day dreaming about something she adore a lot!

Realy think the shading,expression,colors - everything look nice!
Just too adoreable

The only thing I would probably point out is,she dosn't have much of the typical Flamingo apperance: kinda lack that white-pinkish bend down beak that has a dark tip on the end of it and longer neck,but meh,thats what Disney do to anyway - Michey mouse dosn't realy look very mouse-ish,now does he XD Not that I mean that you did aim for the Dinsey style or anything,just the only thing that came to mind as I see this pic ^^
She is a cutie pie,nontheless! Very cute!
